Print tips

Make the PDF feel good on paper.

AdventurePDF exports are designed for paper, but a few print choices make a big difference: size, scaling, duplex settings, and how much margin you want for field notes.

Print actual size

Avoid browser shrink-to-fit settings unless you are intentionally creating a smaller packet.

Use duplex for packets

Double-sided printing keeps longer road trips compact and easier to carry.

Leave note margins

If you like writing on the road, choose a scale that leaves enough edge space for quick marks.

Scaling

Print actual size

Avoid browser shrink-to-fit settings unless you are intentionally creating a smaller packet.

Duplex

Use duplex for packets

Double-sided printing keeps longer road trips compact and easier to carry.

Field use

Leave note margins

If you like writing on the road, choose a scale that leaves enough edge space for quick marks.

Paper

Try heavier paper

A slightly heavier stock makes the guide feel less disposable without requiring special binding.

Carry

Fold for the glovebox

Short guides can work as folded packets; longer guides are better stapled or clipped.

Workflow

Export before printing

Download the PDF first, then print from a dedicated PDF viewer for more predictable settings.
